The Pandas produced a team performance to be proud of in an exciting match against Hayle at Camborne on 2nd Feb.
Clinching a 28-20 victory on their debut outing under the sponsorship of the Roche-based business Fire Safety in Order.
With their sights firmly set on entering the Cornwall league in September, this friendly win instilled confidence in the Panda squad who now look forward to developing in strength and depth throughout the summer at Lanivet.
Hannah Steadman came away with the Panda player of the match award selected by Hayle coach/umpire Clinton Thomas.
This was the first in a series of friendlies the Pandas are keen to set up for social Back to Netball; team and walking netball.

The Pandas look forward to Sunday 8th, fielding Back to Netball and Walking teams at the International Women’s Day Netball Festival in Paignton.
Lanivet Netball returns to the all-weather arena at the Community Hall on Monday March 30 from 7pm-8.30pm. Weekly pay and play (£3) sessions are scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays (from April 2). Mondays: Friendly fun for all ages & abilities. Don’t worry if you haven’t played netball since school days, never played a team sport or you just want to enjoy match play, fitness and friendship. Please join us!
First Mondays of the month: Bring a friend/newbie session. Laid back introduction to the rules - a slower pace of play.
Thursdays: Walking Netball 1pm-2pmTeam development and progressive play. 7pm-8pm.
